In LNG transfer processes, pressurization using submerged pumps is a widely adopted industry practice. Designed for diverse applications, LNG submerged pumps come in multiple configurations: those installed inside large storage tanks, vessel-type submerged pumps for intermediate pressurization, and compact models tailored for LNG refueling stations.

 

 

Vertically mounted on the inlet foot valve, the pump is integrated with a pump well that extends directly above the top of the large storage tank. The entire pump assembly is housed within the pump well, which also serves as the discharge pipe—this design maximizes operational safety and minimizes leakage risks. Both flow rate and head can be fully customized to meet specific user requirements. We offer tank-mounted submerged pumps in various specifications, catering to scenarios such as loading/unloading, pressurization, and vaporization.

 

 

The complete pump and motor assembly are integrated into a single pressure vessel, which functions as the pump’s outer casing. The vessel body is equipped with inlets, mounting brackets (lugs), and temperature gauges, while the top plate features outlets, gas return ports, electrical connections, instrument interfaces, and liquid level monitoring ports. This configuration ensures the entire pump is fully submerged in cryogenic liquid, reducing equipment noise, ensuring safe and reliable operation, and simplifying maintenance. Flow rate and head are customizable, and we provide vessel-type submerged pumps across different flow and pressure ratings for applications including peak shaving, loading/unloading, refueling, and pressurization.
